I am a certified Forrest Yoga teacher. The class I teach is core-based, challenging my students to become strong and centered. Students learn to use yoga to address stresses and challenges, both physical and emotional, of living in the modern world. Intense pose sequences, compassionately taught, are used to develop skills in awakening the senses.
Deep breath is used to connect with feeling in the body.
My own journey to yoga began as an attempt to overcome chronic pain from a myriad of overuse injuries. Over the past ten years it has developed into a path of re-connection with my spirit.
I am currently employed as an arborist and, when not doing yoga on the ground, I do as much yoga as I can while climbing trees.
