How long, what to wear, what to bring...
Most classes are 1-1/2 hours, ongoing and
no registration is required, unless noted. (Beginner and some downtown classes are one hour). We accept all major credit cards.
Students will feel most comfortable in light clothing which does not restrict movement - along the same lines of what you would wear to bike, run, climb, etc. Practice is done in bare feet. Please bring a towel for sweat, water, and a change of clothes for going home.
Students will need to purchase their own yoga mats – (they are
also available in the studio (you can purchase one when you check in for class $34) or via our on-line store. We do have a limited supply of studio mats you are welcome to borrow for your first classes. Please note, students who purchase a ten class card must have their own yoga mats. This is the one ESSENTIAL piece of "equipment" you need for studio practice. At the downtown studio we will have a limited supply of rental mats at $1/use.
Where to begin?
All of our regular classes are ongoing and open to
all levels. Instructors focus on making the sessions both accessible and challenging
for all students. New students may also choose our Beginner
Classes or our six week Beginner Series
to introduce themselves to Ashtanga or Kripalu Yoga and build the foundations of a practice.
